How are Sadie's tattoos priced?
Sadie’s starting rate for a tattoo is $250. Each tattoo piece is individually quoted based on the design and size of the tattoo and will be given to you beforehand. We estimate our quotes by the amount of time we think Sadie will need with each client and price at around $250/hour. Should Sadie take longer than expected on an appointment, your quote will still remain the same. Should she finish early, your quote will also remain the same. We do this with the intent of being straightforward with our prices so that our clients can better prepare for their appointments with NO unknowns when it comes to cost.
All quotes given are valid for 30 days and are subject to change after this time. Once a deposit is paid and you are put on the schedule, your quote will REMAIN as quoted.

Does Sadie offer cover ups?
Because Sadie’s style of tattooing is much more delicate than your typical tattoo, Sadie does NOT offer cover ups. We take pride in offering beautiful tattoos that you AND Sadie can feel great about. As of right now there will be no exceptions for doing cover up work (even if you feel that your tattoo is thin) as Sadie does not feel that she excels in doing cover up work at this time.
-
Will Sadie touch up a tattoo done by another artist or does she offer correctional work on a tattoo I got done by someone else?
Although it has been done in the past, Sadie has officially decided that she will no longer be touching up any other artist’s work or offer any type of correctional work if the tattoo was done by another artist. We hope you understand.

What is a "Skip the Line" appointment?
Because Sadie books a few months out at a time and appointments are limited, she offers “Skip the Line” appointments to help cater to those people that hate to “book out”. These are offered when Sadie has last minute cancellations, gaps in her schedule, or times that she feels like picking up more hours of work. More often than not, these appointments will be smaller time slots and meant for smaller pieces (1-2 hour appointments).
These appointments are typically posted to @doubletake__beauty IG stories 1-2 days before the appointment opening. Along with the day and time, a SET price will be listed for each appointment. These prices are normally a bit higher than normal as you are quite literally paying to “skip the line”.
If you are interested in grabbing a STL appointment, act fast! These tend to book very quickly. Please only inquire about taking the appointment if you are serious about it and have made the arrangements to come at the time listed.

Can I book a tattoo appoinment with a friend or family member?
We love friend/family groups! Here are a few things we want you to keep in mind and follow when attempting to book with your friends or family:
1) Have all interested parties fill out their own individual form.
2) All designs must first be accepted by Sadie if each person is getting a different tattoo.
3) When filling out your forms, please mention in the box that says “Is there any additional information you would like your artist to know?” the names AND e-mails of each person you are attempting to book with.
4) Friend/group booking is limited to a full day of appointment slots available (aka if the group is too large, we won’t be able to do them all in one day).
5) Deposits can be paid all together, but policies are still in place for each individual person.

Will Sadie design something custom for me?
If you have a tattoo design in mind, but need help bringing it to life, Sadie can help with that! Make sure to submit your tattoo idea through our online form to be considered. Because of demand, Sadie will not be taking on every single inquiry, but will select the projects that interest her the most. If selected, you may be contacted to work more closely with Sadie during the design process.
Like many artists, Sadie does not send out custom designs beforehand, but instead will leave some time at the beginning of your appointment to review the design and make small changes if needed. Should a complete redesign be necessary, a new appointment and new deposit will be required. Custom pieces are best for those that trust Sadie’s artistic eye and style rather than someone who has an EXACT image of what they are wanting for their tattoo.

Do people typically tip? If so, how much should I expect to tip my tattoo artist?
This is one of our most asked questions! Because of this, we went back in our records to collect data to better answer this question. Based off of Sadie’s appointments in the year 2021, 80% of clients tipped and of the 80%, the average tip was 12% of the cost of the tattoo. As always, Sadie is very grateful for ANY tip given.
-
Which methods of payment are accepted?
Payment methods accepted are Cash, Zelle, Venmo or Credit Card (listed in order of preference). Please note that ALL Venmo or credit card transactions will have an additional surcharge of 3%. Tips, as always, are GREATLY appreciated.

How far out is Sadie booked?
In the past, Sadie has limited her bookings to 3 months out at a time. While navigating being a new mother and working, she will be booking anywhere from 1-3 months out until her schedule is more solidified.
-
Does Sadie tattoo large pieces?
Sadie has recently decided to specialize in small and intricate pieces as she feels that this is what she excels in with her attention to detail. She will no longer be offering pieces that exceed 3.5 inches in length on a regular basis, but will accept only a few “project pieces” each month that are on a larger scale. Please reach out if you have any questions about this topic.

Can I bring children with me to my appointment?
If you have a child or children that you need to bring with you, we ask that you either bring someone who can help watch them for the duration of your appointment OR only bring children that are old enough to sit on their own without assistance. Please do not bring any lap children as this will heavily interfere with your appointment time.

4) Micro designs (taking images that normally would be done on a large scale and bringing them way down

What is a VIP appointment?
VIP appointments were created to cater towards our clientele that would prefer to pay more to skip our waitlist completely. To make things simple, a VIP appointment is quoted at double the price and limited to only 5 openings per month. Follow these steps if you are interested in booking a VIP appointment:
1) When filling out your “request a quote” form, please mention in the box that says “Is there any additional information you would like your artist to know?” that you would be interested in booking a VIP appointment.
2) If your design is accepted by our team, you will be given a quote for a traditional appointment and a VIP appointment (ex. if the quote for a regular appointment is $300, your VIP price would be $600).
3) At this time you can choose to be put on our waitlist or book a VIP appointment and book right away for our next available appointment.

Are there areas that Sadie does not tattoo?
Sadie does not tattoo sides of fingers, the inside of hands, and most areas of the foot. This is because the healed results are very unreliable and she does not feel comfortable offering tattoos that are known for not healing well. Although she does not prefer it, she is more open to tattooing the tops of hands on a case by case basis.
